The story of my life seems to be about taking the side door, back door, or secret entrance.I need the confidence to go through the front door! "Garbo"

One of my friends came up with the idea of giving a weekly assignment/topic to photograph. She too is taking the 365 Photo Challenge and thinks that an assignment will help us at least once a week. The topic for today was "doors". I first analyzed the topic and decided that it was a good one for me...very symbolic. One thing that we all have in common is that we all come from a home with doors. Doors are shut this time of the year to keep the cold out. Doors are sometimes shut for privacy purposes. An open door can be a welcoming gesture or indicate that something is amiss, such as a break-in. And, of course, there are 'doors of opportunity' which one can choose to go through or not. After analyzing this concept and deciding what I wanted to accomplish, I went for a quick drive and found these doors. The one above, a very colorful door in the middle of winter (it better be the middle!) and the door knobs below graced a church door.
Where is my vision you ask? Where is the symbolism behind my photos? Ha!! There are none fool! I found these doors instead! yippie!! Stay tuned for my vision which I'll stage another day.

And, you can knock, but I will not answer today. It's nap time! ciao

I love those colors, too, in the first image. Did you just happen to come across that scene? Or was that planned? I love the door knockers, too...especially the last image, because of the detail you captured. Wonderful images...all of them...and I loved your writing, too!!!
