Something Funky!

I thought I would try something a little abstract, though the subject is pretty easy to identify. Does that make it less abstract? In any event, I thought it was pretty cool. It could be the surface of a far off planet with an asteroid crater in it.

Road Trip From The Past

I love old photos. Though the photos are usually not perfectly framed nor exposed correctly, there is a character that each picture possesses.

The image below is my favorite. Were these cars good in the snow? If you look closely you can see the people sitting in the car. Who knows what they were thinking? Where were they going or coming home from? So many questions could be asked.

Strawberry Picking!

It is difficult to get my mother to smile naturally....she is a photographer's challenge. Above is a natural smile for her. Move the berry down a little? yeah....but for my photo frame it doesn't much matter! I like the mountains in the background as well. The Schoharie Valley is beautiful this time of year.

We only moved about three yards and we picked 9 quarts of strawberries!

I know this isn't the most flattering photo; however, this nice lady, who spoke with my mother, was a character and this is her in her glory! Picking strawberries an living in the Schoharie, NY area seemed to please her very much!

Relaxing

Farmer's Market and Art Show in Gloversville. It was a beautiful day to walk around, eat lunch and be with friends. I took one photo and here it is!

Brighter Days

I set out today to capture color and to create an image that is 'dreamy'. These flowers, in my mother's backyard, were exactly what I was looking for as my subject. I really like the softness of the picture.
