You folks are correct. I went back to the blue bottle, placed it on the overhead projector-standing the bottle up. What you are seeing is the image that was projected on the white screen. Thanks for guessing! The 'halo' was a result from the light and reflection from the bottle. I never would have guessed the bottle would, without any manipulation, produce this image on the screen. I think it is really cool what light does with color!
