When thinking of a crystal, my vision was that of the photo above. I imagine reflection, color and a stain-glass look. I think the above image and those below are nice, not fantastic, but nice.

I bought this large crystal with the idea of photographing it. I say crystal but the plastic-like crystal certainly didn't photograph as well as a real crystal would. I used my white box and a light to bring out as much sparkle as I could. Ladies, I guess this is the difference between a real diamond and a fake one? There is some sparkle in the "fakes" but not like the real thing!

Cool idea for a photo. How did you get the background to be all black? The filter is interesting. Was it a stain glass window filter?
Gosh, you never cease to amaze me!!! My favorite is the first one, but I loved every one of them! (Did you use a black cloth in your light box?)...please tell. You put a lot of effort into your photography, and it shows. Great job, as always!
very cool pix.
the black background is the perfect backdrop for your subject.
i like all of them!
Nice job. I especially like the last one--spinning crystal.
I like the first one too. It looks really good big.
Good idea with the lighting.
I see what Joel means. The first one looks awesome when enlarged!!! :-)
