If you really want to see an impressive moon shot, check out Joel's blog-the man with the camera in my followers list. His moon shots are amazing...mine, not so much. I did, however, get inspired by his pictures. This morning, as I left my house, I noticed the moon, low in the sky, perfectly placed under a large tree branch. Don't I get credit for being out in the cold and for even noticing the moon at 6am? I'll do better next time!

Sure you get credit for being out in the cold! Anyway, I'm glad you attempted the shot and I like the way you framed it!
joel...what to say ?
it's a great shot.
i love the way you framed the image with the tree branch.
good job steve.
you're on a roll!
Nice idea and nice shot. Sure, you get some credit, and then a little more for bothering to frame the moon with the tree branch. Nice idea and good eye. Keep this scene in mind for the next time there's a full moon. Maybe it will be in the same general area. I love the illumination on the branch.
Your moon shot is definitely more creative then mine. I just pointed the camera at the moon and pushed the button, I can't take much credit for that.
Wonderful moon shot, Steve! I really liked how you framed it with the tree branches. Did you use a filter during editing? I like it...what did you use?
See my notice that I am substituting Leah's recent entry for my Thursdsay entry if all else fails
