Americans Are So Blessed!

As I have stated before in this blog, I have epilepsy. I take medicine every day to eliminate the possibility of seizure activity. I've only had a minor seizure problem when I was moronic and decided to stop my medicine because I hadn't had a seizure in a while. Of course, that is what my medicine does, it stops seizures. duh. Regardless, I am faithful about taking these simple, nearly cost-free pills and my life is as normal as any ones. I sometimes pause to recognize how fortunate I am to live in a country with modern medicine and to have a job with good health care. What do people in Africa do who have my seizure disorder? What do diabetics do, living in a third-world nation? One could argue that Americans are on too many pills; however, for those who need medicines in order to live happily and safely, what a blessing it is to have good doctors and good medicine.

I thought these shots were those that I would find in ad. I was going to create one, but today I am too tired. Maybe I will in the future. Stay tuned.

How'd you do the background? A good post and nice thoughts behind it. I'm glad we have medicine too. Life expectancies are so much lower in other places in the world. By the way, how's the new teach working out?

I'm with you. We are blessed beyond our wildest dreams. Thank God for His mercies and provisions of good doctors, medical care and necessary medicines, in addition to all the other blessings we enjoy each day. Nice post and I like the images.

Yes, Americans are blessed. Unfortunately, too often we taken our blessings for granted. I think your images would make a great advertisement, too. Remember Dewitt Jones...take that next step. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with them. Great posting!!!
