The pictures above capture Oliver and Lindsey...each with a different focus point. Oliver is very camera shy; however, Lindsey did a great job getting him to pose. Below, George is seen close up with a radial blur. I had to use a blur tool because George is self-conscious of his feather loss. If you look at his neck he sheds nearly all his feathers leaving behind a fuzzy-gray look.

Very clever, Steve! I really like all three images, but my favorite is the first one. I love how you have focused on Oliver, with Lindsey slightly out-of-focus in the background. I also love Lindsey's expression as she stares at Oliver (instead of looking at the camera). That said, I think you ought to dedicate a post simply to Lindsey...she is a very pretty girl and would make a great subject!!!
I also love the first one and Lindsey's expression. Your nieces always make fantastic subjects for pictures. I wish I had subjects like that:)
Very nice, Steve. I, too, like the first one best. But it was very nice of you to be so thoughtful of George's self-consciousness about his "feather-loss" and make the image soft-focus! Good job.
