Where else on a rainy day than a cemetery!

I found this gem leaning against a tombstone. In this first image I wanted to make the stone the same copper color as the statue.

Above, I wanted to illuminate her face and I did so with a filter that brightens the center, leaving the rest of the image to become darker. I then applied another filter to get the paint feel.

Pretty funky. Even though I actually like the second one, which surprised me because when I first saw it I didn't like it, I prefer the first because of the color it is and the monochrome look.

I love the simplicity...the peacefulness...of the first image. The 2nd photo, with its wild, psychedelic colors appears to go directly against the peaceful, quiet mood of the image. Regardless, I love it anyway and think it's terrific! The bold colors...with the face highlighted...is beautiful. Again, I applaud you for your creativity...and daring to experiment! Wonderful job!!! :-)

Usually I love filters, but this time I think I love the bronze picture the best. It has its own glow and peaceful feel to it. It is such a beautiful statue!
