My Interpretation Of NYC

I absolutely love the city. I love the sounds, the smells and the sights. I feel at home in NYC. I embrace the diversity and the culture. I feel comfortable as odd as that may sound. There are people having intellectual conversations. There are coffee houses and delis where couples sit in the window and appear to be chatting away. There are well dressed people. I know there is more to the city than this description; however, I crave a setting like New York every now and then. Anyway, the city was miserable today as far as weather, but I still loved every second. I bought....drum roll please....a macro lens that is also a great portrait lens! Thank you for your opinions on the matter. I think I will get more use out of the macro/portrait than I will with a wide angle..at this time. That will be my next lens! Well it is 11:4o here and I made another post by just a slim margin! Up at 4:30am..been a great, but long day!

Interesting cityscape/abstract! Sorry the weather wasn't better, but sounds as if the city rejuvenated you. Glad you had a great time and made it home safely! Congrats on your awesome new lens, too...can't wait to see your first images!!! Also, think you deserve BONUS POINTS for putting in such a long day and still posting by the deadline! :-)

Sounds like an awesome new lens that I bet you can't wait to try out. I liked your abstract of city life. What settings did you use? I know what you mean about the city. I wouldn't want to live there, but once in a while, I love to go there and just WATCH people and things. How life just seems to soar out of a city like NYC!

So awesome that you got to go to NYC. Did you take a day off school? Love the image too. It's funny how I like those kinds of images even though I'm not really into abstracts! Love the color. Congrats on the new lens. Isn't it exciting to get a new, long-awaited toy? You'll love it, I'm sure.
