I always drive past the train station and think how nice the building looks with the lights on. As I drive home, in day light, I always think how small and plain the train station looks. Today, I decided to take comparison photos. At 6:10 I took the photo above. At 6:20, the photo below.

Finally, the image below was taken at 3:20pm. I was fortunate to have a train pass at the same time as I snapped the photo; however, I still believe the train station is at its most interesting in the early morning.

ditto on the evening look.
love the first one.
good idea steve.
i also pass it daily.
love the progression of the shots...I'm torn between the first and last one with the moving train. We need to find a really cool train station and do a shoot...maybe in DC, grand central!
very nice, i like the one with the moveing train in the background the best, nice job
I like trains and also your idea of filming the station at different times of the day
i love trainstations because i love imagining where people are going or coming and why. i looks like its straight out of a movie, what a cute train station. me being a city dweller, im so use to the oversized massive, very busy and overwhelming stations.
Well, everyone else has said it all! I liked your idea of photographing the train station at different times. I love the one of the train whizzing by...but also liked the lighting in #2. Whenever I pass this station and see cars parked in the lot, I wonder who the people are and where they are going. I like Jayme's idea...how about Union Station in D.C.? :-)
