I Lost My Head Today!

Blame Jayme, she is the one who let me borrow this from her classroom!

Below, I like the lighting I was able to achieve. Not bad for the teacher's room huh? Didn't you always wonder what happens in the teachers' lounge?

Today I didn't do much instruction as my student-teacher was 'solo'. I had extra time to plan for a future lesson... and, going with the Holocaust theme, I had an idea of using a skull-photo. I know it sounds morbid, but it really wasn't; however, it didn't work out the way that I wanted it to. Nonetheless, I was able to use the images as my daily post.
The image above is one that incorporated three separate photos. Enjoy!

What are you talking about?! These came out great! I liked the first one, then I saw the second and loved it...then I say number three and wow, I really really thought that was amazing:) great job with Hamlet. It's good to know at least one kid remembers why he was there!

In a contrast to your honest exploration of The Holcoust in your class and the distance people have come from the total rejection of this sad period .please (if you want to be more depressed) look at the NYTimes book Review of The Kindly Ones by Kakatani..This book won two of France's highest book awards..Told from the point of view of an unrepentent Nazi..It has been hailed in France as a great work of literature..go figure

I liked the first one best, though was intrigued by your multiple image. I sure wish there were teachers like you and Jayme when I was in school!!!

These are great. No "blame" to Jayme, just congrats for her lending Mr. Whomever to you. And, lucky, lucky student teacher to have you as an example and mentor. I'm going to email my daughter right now and tell her to request you for her son next year!!!! (Oh and lucky, lucky us to have you for a friend!)
