Phil's assignment of taking pictures of a pet didn't excite me and I wasn't happy with my work. Here I tried again, using filters to make an ordinary image a little more interesting. I'm not sure if I succeeded to the point that others find these interesting, but I do. This is day 150 something...and many, many days to come. Ally the cat didn't become famous after her last photo shoot ...maybe this time Friskies or Meow Mix is looking?

Ally looks like a willing model. I love the filters...is it watercolor or oil paint or something? Very cool textures and shades!

I'm impressed! Not only with your images, but with your willingness and determination to go back and try again on TWO assignments that you did not like! I love these close-ups of Ally, as well as the filter you used (can you share your secret?). The first one is my favorite. Great job, Steve!!!
