Home Sweet Home

I was so excited today to get out in some fresh air. I set out with coffee, tissues, cough syrup and great hope! I hoped to find something fun to photograph today. After scanning my 'ideas-notebook' I remembered this location that I have always wanted to explore.

This house is really cool inside! Of course I came home and watched "The Shining" on TV, and last night I watched "The Ghost Whisperer" so I am in the SPOOKY mood! I don't think any spirits were home today. They must have been enjoying the warmer weather too!

I had a lot of fun today, using a variety of lenses, settings and techniques. I took some sixty pictures here. Obviously, not all worked; however, I can't wait to revisit!

I left a message on the other group of images. I'm soooo jealous you got to shoot in this house!!! They look great in bw.

Shadows on the radiator are very creepy! You really know how to pull dramatic tension from your shots. Awesome!

You sure found a gold mine of photo ops! When enlarged, my favorite is the first one of the house. It looks like this structure was once a beautiful home. What a shame that it went to ruins (well, maybe not for you!). :-)
I can't help but wonder who lived here...and what happened. Another awesome posting!!!

Cool shots! I've always been fascinated with deserted building, I don't know why. Nice work.
