It is Thursday and that means it is 'suggestion day'. Phil, a member of a photography group which I belong, suggested that we photograph based upon "looking through dark glass". Well Phil, I saw this green bottle in a box at work. That's it. Sorry. I didn't interpret it in any depth; however, had you not mentioned dark glass I would have passed by this green bottle. A co-worker helped lend a bracelet to add something to my image. If the idea is to make it through another posting in our looong challenge, then I accomplished that goal!

Steve, it's breathtaking...who cares about interpretation? This photo is one of my favorites. When I was in Africa, I was in several huts of villagers. They didn't have room for things as the huts are very small, so they would combine basic articles together to make room. If this bottle were dusty and more in the shade, I would think I was back in Africa. It simply warms and breaks my heart at the same time.
p/s I didn't see you in Johnstown!!! I'd never purposely ignore you!

I hadn't realised that it was your challenge. Quite a task you set yourself there. You're doing great a job. I couldn't see myself doing this. I'm too lazy. As you might have noticed, I started off my blog with titles & explanatory. And now, it's just pictures. I guess, my challenge is to make sure I'll post something each month. Keep up with the good work!

This picture of yours is also stunning! I love the color and the attention to detail!
Again, thank you for visiting my blog, I really appreciate everything you had to say! Keep up the good work, yourself!

This is a beautiful image, Steve! I love the shades of green/blue. How did you do that background? Adding the lovely bracelet added an interesting element that tied it all together. I enjoyed Jayme's comments, too...and learned something new in the process. Great job!!!

I love the green bottle against the blue background. I think you should work this subject some more. Good thinking/seeing.
