Three Very Different Views

Three very different views of the same statue. It always surprises me how a subject can look so differently and bring about such varying emotions just by moving the camera to a new vantage point. Here I tried using cropping and light to achieve those different feelings. Which do you like?
Also, it is a little self-serving..OK...a lot self-serving to say that I have received my photo-clubs BLOG AWARD. I now possess this trophy for a month until we meet again to determine the next winner. I could technically win again, again and again. That is my plan. How did I win? I took a photo and posted one every day for the month which made me eligible for the drawing.
This photo was taken on Friday.

I like the first and the last...the first one seems so peaceful with the shadows you have captures. But the last one is haunting to me. The more I look at it, the more I feel like that statue is laughing cruelly at me. Great job capturing the mood and different perspectives of this statue. And congrats on your victory last night:) You really do deserve it!

Congratulations again on winning the trophy. Don't get too used to it though, you'll have some extra competition in the next drawing.

I love, love the last one. The lighting is wonderful, the shadows define her face nicely and this view gives her face a serenely peaceful look.

Great job working the subject! The last one is my favorite...it's beautiful! Congratulations on winning the trophy...you really deserve it!!! But you were wrong. The trophy is yours to keep for almost 2 months!!!! (May is the field trip, then at the June meeting - yesterday was really the April meeting - we will draw a new name).
