Early Morning Sunshine, Early Flowers

Sneaking into my mother's garden/yard this morning, I found exactly what I had seen on Memorial Day when I watched the parade from her house. She has beautiful flowers growing in each corner of the yard. Above, I used a "Lensbaby" to get the blurred effect.

Above, I liked how the purple lilac and white flowers (unknown to me) overlapped. I like the softness of the colors too. Below, the white flowers are shown without a filter.

The next few days will be cloudy and wet so I was happy to use the light this morning.

I love the soft, dreamy effect of these beautiful flowers! (And much appreciated on this chilly, rainy day). Very, very nice, Steve! :-)

I did comment, but blogger doesn't like me...what I said was basically that the colors and the lensbaby make these flowers have a creamy feel which I really love. I like the second one the best with the two different colors. Beautifully composed!

These are great! White flowers always pleased to the eyes. Your mun has a good eyes for colours arrangement. I love the two combination that she's planted together, the white & lilac. So pleasant!
My favourite? can I say all of them?
