I went to see Angels and Demons last night. It was a movie of course; however, it does bring up many interesting points about religion and science. The amount of political, social and religious power, not to mention wealth that religions have obtained while operating behind the symbol of the cross is mind-blowing to me. My photo for the day is inspired by the great debate between science and religion as well as the power of the cross.

Is this a negative filter or chrome? Very cool shot! While I enjoyed the book for its suspense and fast paced action, I get sad thinking about how much religion has been tainted by those looking for wealth and power. That's why I don't really tell people I have a religion. What I have is a relationship with Jesus Christ which transcends all the political and power driving "man" stuff!
