Save The Environment- Ride Your Bike To Work

Ok, so I didn't ride this bicycle to work; however, I found it there. In the front of my school this little tricycle sits as decoration. It was a good subject for my daily photo.

I very fondly remember the days, as a young boy, when I could ride my bike. There were days when I looked forward to the school day ending so I could get home and ride. As I grew, my bikes also matured. Regardless of the size, shape and color, I just loved each bike. My love for riding continues today. I've traded the safe, flat sidewalk for dirt trails through the woods but I have the same joy in riding as I ever did.

It was a good idea to shoot that bike. I have to admit though, you've got me curious what the picture would look like if it were taken from the point of view of a child riding the bike. I like the colors very much!

Love the 2nd image! Great cropping of an interesting subject and vibrant greenery makes a wonderful backdrop. I love this old tricycle and often think I should photograph it...glad you did! P.S. Don't think I'll try riding my bike to work in my skirt and heels...but maybe this summer I'll give it a whirl! :-)

love the second image and the way the thought of biking brings the boy out in you:)

Love the images. Anything "old" is usually very cool to photograph.

But of course, the story accompanying the photos really makes it!
