Albany, New York

I wanted to focus the photo on the sky and clouds rather than the buildings. I think one can look at a skyline and see buildings with a pretty sky in the background OR one can see sky and the power of earth, leaving the buildings to play a secondary role. I wanted the sky to overpower the buildings. I'm not sure I am stating this the way I thought of it. I'm not even sure if I pulled off what I wanted...but here it is.

I know what you mean and I think you accomplished it. What a good perspective...when you think about it, how small are our cities, our towns, when it comes to the vastness of the earth? We are like just a little blip on the timeline of this world!

This is really, really nice. I love it that the horizon is so close to the bottom of the frame and the composition of the buildings really adds to the overall look.

There're just enough clouds to make the sky interesting. That's a perspective that I don't think I've seen before.
