Enlarge For More Of An Impact
I was surprised to find the sun shining after work as I thought it was going to be cloudy. I decided to take advantage of the great weather and take a walk after grading 130 essays today for New York State (morons!). It was a great walk minus the prehistoric-sized mosquitoes that drained gallons of blood from my body.
I was not the only person on the trail as you can see below. I made the image a watercolor which can be better seen enlarged. Otherwise, it just looks blurry. Please enlarge.

i really enjoyed the 2nd picture, and as you said enlarge it....and who are the morons?...nys...i can agree with that!
Enjoyed the watercolor filter on the second one. Good colors and composition. Filter makes that guy sort of look Amish:) Wow, a 130 essays? And I'm complaining about trying to get through 95! I'm assuming you're talking about NYS cause you'd never call the students that....right?!
nice job I love the part about the bug. That is so true about the size, it's like they are 12 time bigger then city bugs. Anyway great job and keep it up.
Whew...I thought WE were the morons! :-)
In image #1, I love the bright green foliage and the compositional element of the dead tree, forming a diagonal with the greenery on each side. Image #2 is quite clever with that watercolor filter...very cool! Definitely must be enlarged to appreciate. Your writing made me smile, too, as I envisioned the dinosaur-sized mosquitoes enjoying their snack! :-)
nice post!
the 2nd image is my favorite.
it is very well composed and the filter gives it the look of a painting(duh!)
Image #2 is very interesting. Nice use of the filter.
Great effect on the second pic. Again very creative work.
