Massachusetts
On my way to a hike I came across this scene. Who wouldn't stop and photograph this! I was so happy with the dramatic clouds and the winding road. Coming back to NY I found darker clouds so I made a good decision to go East.
ANOTHER KEEPER!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!!!! AWESOME!!! All the elements of a great composition...a fence leading the viewer's eye into the frame; the S-curve; the layers dividing the image into thirds; and of course, that gorgeous sky! I like the bright greens in the 2nd image but the colors in the sky are better in the 1st. Overall, the first one is my favorite. Really terrific job, Steve! (How DO you find these incredible scenes?!)

Trish said it all, they are wonderfully done! The fence really adds a peacefulness to the rumbling sky of clouds. Just perfect:)
Really gorgeous! I like the second image better. The fence is more horizontal, so seems to me to fit the horizontal format better.
Love the total composition of the image.
