An 'Eeerriiiee' Morning

A dark beginning to the day as I was up very early. I wanted to take some photos with lights, maybe streaking cars or store lights/house lights; however, I saw none. Then I passed this spot, which I have photographed before. It usually has those round hay bales...well maybe that is no longer a bale? Anyway, the hay is gone but the fog was coming off the ground and headlights from a car, from left to right, seemed to make the fog look like it was "rolling" into the scene...at least to me. I set up the camera and waited for another car to stop at the intersection and I snapped once. This is what I got. Not a prize winner but pretty cool.

This is very cool! Nice job - it kind of reminds me of a scary movie scene!

Yes, I agree, it is eerie. Very nice shot--good for you for setting up and then waiting. Patience often reaps great rewards.

I like your patience in waiting for the shot. It has a spooky feeling to it but it is very cool seeing the fog roll in like that!

I was going to say that the shot with the car lights projected off the road into an open space is "something I have seen so many times but never was quick enough to catch"

That is real insight to understand how interesting that would be ..and to set up for it and wait ..in the early AM
