Poor Wayfaring Stranger

"I am a poor wayfaring stranger
Traveling through this world of woe
But there's no sickness, toil or danger
In that bright land to which I will go"

An old folk song with of unknown origin?

Awww, you found a great old abandoned house again. Nice! And the song lyrics match it perfectly.

Very cool! I love the rich tones...and "decrepit" always makes for an interesting image! Perfect lyrics to go along with it, too. Terrific posting!

Is this house one of the sites for our project? :-)

I like this shot a lot. Was it other abandoned house? Usually I'm all about the symbolism but I don't get how the lyrics and photo go together. Is the photographer the wayward stranger? Or is it the house? The peeling paint? Whatever it is, I like it :)
