I wish I had been with my friends when we shared our macro assignment. I am not a fan of macro...well I'm not a fan of the tripod which seems necessary for macro! With these images I got off my lazy butt and used the tripod!
The photo above is my favorite. I love the colors that were created with light streaming through a small garage window.

Great subjects....so masculine! :-) I, too, love the light in #2, but it's really difficult to choose a favorite, as they are all appealing!

I love these, also. I get the point of why you like the second one, but I keep going back to the first. Very appealing to me, but I'm not sure why. Maybe the bw, maybe the limited dof, maybe the composition. Probably all of it is what draws me back to it.

Wow, I really like the nails but overall these are just fantastic. Did you use a macro lens, filters, etc? Seriously good job
