A Room With A View

Having a little fun with creating different looks from the same photograph. You don't need to say which you enjoy most as each can be appreciated for its own qualities. Or disliked. This is a little girl enjoying the view from the 45th floor of a building, located on the Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York.

I really like the black and white because the shadows seem so pronounced. Very crisp image! That was a clever shot. How did you do the last one?

Gorgeous!!!

It's very difficult to choose a favorite, for as you correctly pointed out, each can be appreciated for its own qualities.

That said...I love the last image because it is so colorful and funky.

I love the middle image for its rich tones and great b/w contrast. I also like how you positioned the subject slightly off center.

I love the first image because the beautiful mountains in the background are more pronounced, and also for the lovely blue cast reflecting from the sky.

I love all three images for their terrific symmetry...and I love the partial silhouette of your subject in the first two images.

Looking forward to more of your Albany images! :-)

I like them all, too. And considering that I don't especially enjoy special effects, the last one is really, really fun and enjoyable. Maybe it's the color palette. Whatever it is, it works for me.
