I had been to the Shaker Village, near Pittsfield, before; however, not with photography as the intent. There are literally hundreds of subjects to photograph. I'll share more as time goes on, however, I like this photo with its vibrant purple and green colors.

Beautiful! The colors are rich and vibrant...and I love the contrast of the purple against the green background. Great DOF, too...your subject really stands out. I can't wait to see more of your images from this trip! :-)
Ditto what Trish said. I saw you take this and I thought that I wouldn't even try cause I wasn't all that inspired, even though the flowers are beautiful. But you definitely did it justice. Now I'm sorry I didn't even try. Good job.
