A STORM IS BREWING

This farm is across the street from my house and the light often creates interesting shadows and drama due to the metal roof. It has been so windy at my house, and at the farm as well, that it feels as if hurricane strength winds have come to visit. I decided to photograph the farm and combine the image with the "stormy winds" that I was experiencing. The dramatic sky, which in its original form was a sunset, has become ominous with a little manipulation.

wow...Wow...WOW!!! Ansel Adams move over! :-)

This is incredible, Steve!!! I love the way the light is hitting the edge of the barn and silo...and the dramatic sky is great. This is just too beautiful for words! You should get it enlarged (metallic print) and enter it in the art show!!!

I agree with Trish, this is beautiful! Very moody. It really does speak of a storm on the way. The rim lighting on the barn and silo is great.

Straight from the Wizard of OZ, that's the first thought I had. I like the dramatic sky and I agree about the metallic print which will make this photo pop in a frame. Cool subject!
