August! ugh

It is August and my summer vacation is half over! One thing that has been fun is shopping for my new house. I found this scene outside of a store in Little Falls. BeFunky.com is a free site if you care to check it out. The site isn't anything extraordinary; however, it has some fun effects.

I recently watched Stephen King's Pet Cemetery. If you have not seen this film, it is a fun one to rent. The premise is that pets who have been buried do not always remain buried. Some COME BACK! Be careful what you wish for!

Humid, tropical weather seems to saturate the colors beautifully.

Scared of Clowns?

Some people have a fear of clowns. I don't, and in fact, I am drawn to those that are creepy. Those clowns make a better image. Here is a clown that I saw in an antique shop and I snuck in a picture, though a sign on the wall warned against photographs being taken.

Calm and Cool

I love a calm summer morning, watering the flowers. The early morning shadows seem to create shapes everywhere!

Flashback

Being in my teenage years, in the 1980s, I don't remember vehicles as shown here. I have often imagined cars, such as this one, traveling the highways years ago. I chose to use filters (obviously) to create different effects. Which do you prefer?

Using Sunflare and Silhouette

Green grass outside the window and my red car in the driveway generated the color found in the background. I saw the sun flare off the car and wondered if I could capture that flare behind the cross.
