Brighter Days

I set out today to capture color and to create an image that is 'dreamy'. These flowers, in my mother's backyard, were exactly what I was looking for as my subject. I really like the softness of the picture.

Special Day

Happy Memorial Day! I didn't have poppies to photograph; symbolic flowers for war veterans (originally World War I), so I had to resort to a flower that resembles poppies.

Macro Assignment

I wish I had been with my friends when we shared our macro assignment. I am not a fan of macro...well I'm not a fan of the tripod which seems necessary for macro! With these images I got off my lazy butt and used the tripod!

The photo above is my favorite. I love the colors that were created with light streaming through a small garage window.
